When he doesn’t have meetings with clients, Sustainability Associate Michael Ian Bolalin uses an outdoor desk set up where he can work from home at his family’s mini farm garden in Bicol. At the farm, the green surroundings are conducive to focus and creativity.
He says that working at Drink was one of his best career decisions since he can pursue his side hustles and connect to the world while living in the province. Michael’s family harvests and sometimes sells fresh produce like calamansi, sili, avocados, and more. To maintain his hobby business, he employs his culinary expertise to develop food products like dips and salad dressings. Additionally, his license as a Registered Dietitian allows him to pursue nutrition coaching.
