Members of the Net Zero Carbon Alliance (NZCA) came together in Dumaguete for their 3rd Quarter Assembly from July 27 to 28, 2023. The crowning achievement of this session was the launch of a portal that will allow members to track and calculate their GHG emissions. This portal will bring NZCA one step closer to its goal of attaining carbon neutrality for its members by 2050.
At the assembly, members of NZCA also toured Energy Development Corporation’s geothermal power plant in Valencia, Negros Oriental. The following day, they met for their quarterly meeting at Silliman University in Dumaguete City, a school that is completely powered by renewable energy.
