As we close another reporting season and prepare for the next, let us revisit the highlights of our successful run this year.
In the first quarter newsletter, we celebrated our enduring partnerships and the power of collaboration, laying a strong foundation for future endeavors. For the second quarter, we unveiled Drink’s expansion beyond communications with carbon management services, particularly Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Accounting. The third quarter update highlighted employee trainings and our preparations for adopting the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
We continued our employee development activities in this last quarter: our sustainability team wrapped up their strategy development course, the production team completed their first IFRS training, and our support team sharpened their tech skills on Google Workspace. In addition, Drink also had the opportunity to join the Net Zero Carbon Alliance (NZCA) Year-end Fellowship, where we met with other members to discuss how to move forward with the group’s net-zero goals next year.
Foremost among Drink’s achievements this year is the accomplishment of our sustainability and communications projects. We worked on 21 corporate reports this year. Alongside these, we were also tapped to develop microsites, feature articles, social media content, and print collaterals that focus on health, farming, and the celebration of people behind social initiatives.
We are grateful to our clients for the opportunity to share their stories with a wider audience. Each project is a learning experience for us as we get to know not only your company and organizational objectives but also how your initiatives elevate the lives of your communities.
For the next year, we are strengthening our capacity by learning more about IFRS. Drink is currently processing its membership with the organization to gain access to more advanced training as well as helpful resources as we adopt the framework. We are also excited to work with new and past clients to develop their annual and sustainability reports and meet their communication needs for 2024.
We at Drink wish everyone a fun-filled holiday season. See you next year!
